THE DESIGN PROCESS
Below we've highlighted our most common involvement with a full scale project.
We service projects of all sizes and scope.
Agreement

After an introductory meeting and discussion of scope & goals, we compile a proposal that with your approval will initiate the project.
Programming & Imagery

In this step we collect information. Identifying programming needs, imagery that inspires, existing plans and preliminary measurements to assist in creating necessary documents.
Schematics

We then create preliminary furniture/space allocation plans, imagery boards and preliminary budgets to ensure we are in line with clients desired direction before developing further.

Design Development

At this stage, we have established a solid direction with the client and begin pulling together all the details. This can include fit/finish selections like tile, cabinetry and flooring to furniture and bedding. As selections are being made, we are tailoring plans and elevations and creating schedules and specifications that reflect these selections.
Presentations

Presentations happen throughout the project in smaller formats to get us to this point however at this stage we have a work flow to present which gives us a view of the whole picture. This can entail room boards with furniture and physical samples of fabrics and materials like wallpaper or cabinetry, elevations and tile samples dependent upon project scope. We gather client feedback and make adjustments as needed to ensure we are capturing a space that feels like home to them.
Documentation & Administration

We continue to detail drawings, collaborate with vendors and fine tune specifics for trade use in execution. Typically by this stage we have assisted clients in assessing bids from contractors. We have identified vendors and suppliers and begin the pricing and data entry exercise for the interior design portion of our scope of work client review and approval. Once contractor work has commenced, we are involved in reviewing progress and alerting clients to any adjustment, repairs or changes that may impact the original scope. We continually have eyes in the field and in communication with trades doing walkthroughs at critical stages during the process.

Procurement & Instillation

Once the client has given us their signed approval of proposed goods and we have co llected deposits, we start placing orders and communicating lead times back to our clients. We assist with coordinating local warehousing facilities services if necessary for the project scale. We track and update clients as goods arrive, troubleshoot any issues and will coordinate installation and placement.
